Surprise Coconut Macaroon Cookies

Directions


Heat oven to 375. Combine sugars, shortening, butter, vanilla & egg. Beat well. Add flour ,potota flakes, soda & salt. Mix throughly. Add coconut and nuts.


Shape into 1" balls, place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.


Bake 6-8 minutes. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet. Store in airtight container.
