Perfect Waffles

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 4 tsp b powder
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/4 c milk
- 1/4 tsp butter flavoring
- 3/4 c melted shortening (I use part butter or margarine)
Directions
Combine the dry ingredients & liquid ingredients, blend together. Beat until smooth. Batter will be thin. Bake in a hot waffle iron.
These are light & delicious....Our favorite "plain" waffle.
